Vape Coil Compatibility Guide: Which Coil Fits Your Device
Coils are not universal. A coil that physically fits is not always the right coil, and series names change between generations of the same device.
Match the series name first, then the resistance. Both are printed on the coil you already have — usually stamped on the metal body or the base, in the form GTX 0.6Ω or PnP-VM1 0.3Ω.
VOOPOO
The PnP series is the widest range we carry, and PnP coils fit across the Drag, Vinci and Argus lines.

| PnP C1 | 1.2Ω | MTL |
| PnP R2 | 1.0Ω | MTL |
| PnP R1 / PnP TM2 | 0.8Ω | MTL |
| PnP M2 / PnP VM4 / PnP TM1 | 0.6Ω | Restricted DL |
| PnP M1 / PnP VM3 | 0.45Ω | Restricted DL |
| PnP VM1 | 0.3Ω | DL |
| PnP VM5 | 0.2Ω | DL |
| PnP VM6 | 0.15Ω | DL |

What the resistance means
| Resistance | Draw | Pair with |
|---|---|---|
| 0.8Ω and above | Tighter mouth-to-lung, less vapour, longer battery life | 20mg+ salt nicotine, 50/50 |
| 0.6Ω and below | Open direct-to-lung, more vapour, heavier liquid use | Lower-strength freebase, higher VG |
Match the coil to the liquid as well as to the device. A 20mg salt liquid through a 0.3Ω coil delivers far more nicotine per puff than intended.
Empty pods
Some devices take a separate pod and coil. We stock empty pods for the SMOK Acro (0.8Ω mesh or 0.6Ω MTL), the Vaporesso Moti X Mini (4ml) and the UWELL Caliburn X. Check the product title — some listings are the pod body only, with no coil included.
How long a coil lasts
One to three weeks of regular use is typical. Sweetened liquids — dessert, candy and most iced fruits — caramelise on the coil and can cut that to under a week. A burnt edge to the flavour, weak vapour or a gurgle are the usual signs it is finished.
Prime every new coil: fit it, fill the pod or tank, then wait five to ten minutes before the first puff. Firing a dry coil ruins it in one pull.
Still not sure?
Send us a photo of your device or the old coil on WhatsApp and we will tell you which one you need. Browse the full pods and coils range, or see delivery times — orders before 10:30pm go out the same day.
You must be 18 or over to purchase. Nicotine is an addictive substance.
